Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern access to and use of the software and related materials made available by Causal System Pte. Ltd. (“Causal System”). By licensing or using the software, the client agrees to these terms and to the applicable licence agreement, which prevails in the event of any conflict.

The software
Causal System develops, licenses, and supports proprietary analytical software for professional users of market data. The software performs user-configured time-weighted computational modeling, data aggregation, and rule-based analytics on public market data and client-supplied data.
It produces non-binding analytical outputs and machine-readable workflow data for use within the client’s own systems. The software does not determine what the client should buy, sell, or hold.

Licence and intellectual property
Causal System grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for the client’s internal purposes for the term of the applicable agreement. All intellectual property in the software, including subsequent updates, remains with Causal System.

Client responsibility
All account permissions, venue selections, parameter configuration, approvals, and investment decisions are determined and controlled solely by the client. The software is a tool used by the client; it does not transfer regulatory, operational, or investment responsibility to Causal System.

No warranty beyond the licence agreement
The software is provided on the basis set out in the applicable licence agreement. Analytical outputs are non-binding and do not constitute investment advice. The client is responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Causal System Pte. Ltd. is incorporated in Singapore.

Changes to these terms
Causal System may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the software after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Scope
A software vendor — nothing more.
Causal System is a software vendor and licensor. It does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage, or trade execution services.
Clients retain sole control over their brokerage, exchange, custodian, and execution accounts. Causal System does not hold or access production credentials.
Causal System does not receive, hold, transfer, or have access to client funds or assets.
Fixed software licensing, implementation, and support fees. They are not calculated by reference to assets, trading outcomes, commissions, or performance.
